Springtails’ Perfect Landing

SCIENCE News covered my talk on springtails at the annual meeting of the Society of Integrative and Comparative Biology (SICB 2022). I discovered that springtails can land literally on their feet by adopting a U-shape and by collecting water with a tube-like structure called the collophore. Neat!
